We stayed two separate times over 12 days. Both rooms (2-bedroom suite) were comfortable and the rooms are HUGE and well decorated. The grounds and pool are beautiful.
The staff are incredible! They definitely made our trip and made us feel like we were coming home every night. Any concern or wish we had was fully addressed in a friendly, polite manner. The front doorman was the best! Always a warm hello with a huge smile. Service is 5-Star! The breakfast buffet every morning was pleasant and the made-to-order eggs wonderful.
The only suggestion I can make is to the people that come to stay at the Pantip - please be polite and a little tip now and then goes a long ways! $20 Baht goes a long ways there and the staff works so hard that they are deserving of a little extra appreciation.
On my way out to the airport, the doorman and manager thanked me for staying and asked if I would be coming back. Without hesitation I told them that I don't need to stay anywhere else because I have found the best staff and friends at the Pantip Suites Sathorn!

Very new hotel, extremely clean, excellent facilities and great staff. Location suits me perfectly. Lumpini Stn is about 10 minutes walk, which is perfectly fine with me since i love walking. 7-11 just a few steps away. Very nice and cheap phat-thai (stall) across. Heaps of bar and small restaurant along the street. It was unfortunate that I was down with fever both the two nights I was there. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. During this trip, I also stayed at S1 Hostel around the corner and Silom Art Hotel along Silom Road. Both are very good and worth the stay. Thank you to all the staff involved for making my stay in Bangkok the most pleasant and memorable one.
This is a fantastic hotel that lives up to the brand and reputation of Banyan Tree. Room was spacious and bed was oh so comfortable. Fruits were replenished daily and the buffet breakfast did not disappoint. Staff were friendly and were always smiling and greeting us. Everything was great except for the purchase experience which I made at the Banyan Tree gallery. The staff was not proactive at informing us about the VAT refund which tourists like us are entitled to claim and the forms were not readily available. Had I not asked, I would have said goodbye to nearly 500 Baht in total! But the Manager was quick to call to apologize and offered to pay me the VAT refund in cash instead since the forms could not arrive in time prior to our departure. But, this is but a small hiccup and does little to dent my overall experience in Banyan Tree.
The hotel is also close by to local hawkers and within 10-15 mins walking distance to Central shopping mall and Silom (via small lanes and alleys). Taxis are fairly cheap too but make sure they turn on the meter before you hop in else you'll definitely get ripped off! We discovered the best Tum
Yum Goong located directly opposite the hotel where the local office crowd gathers for lunch. It was awesome and cheap. The hotel is situated away from the hustle and bustle of the main shopping district but still within close proximity to local food and hawkers - a fantastic balance of privacy and accessibility. Would strongly recommend everyone!
This hotel is wonderful. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are lovely - clean, comfortable and modern. Fabulous location with direct access to the sky train. The buffet breakfast and beautiful pool area complete the luxury status of this hotel. At the price we paid per night for our 2 night stay we feel that we found a true gem.

I could write a book of all the great moments and interactions I had with the wonderful staff, the moments relaxing at the quiet, chill endless pool, or the moments just looking over the beautiful park below from the " Water Element" floors.
But to sum it all up, I'm a global traveler. I also travel alone and with groups, so my take on hotels is very, very broad and experienced.
Bangkok is a city, a city that moves 24/7, but keep in mind that most places close at 2 am now. However, having a wonderful jog at the park, then a great breakfast at the Sofitel, relaxing in the room before your sight seeing, lunch, then a splendid nite out, 2 am is really more than enough time to fit a deck of cards into a day. I just wanted to jump into the suite, open the windows over looking the skyline by late evening. However, a martini on the roof top bar was always a great , chill night cap.
5 Star experience without the gimmicks ( W Hotel), or over-priced suites along the muddy Green river ( Shangri La).

Stayed here for six nights and had a wonderful stay. The staff were very friendly and keen to ensure my stay with them was a good one. Whilst there I ate a number of meals at 100 degrees restaurant which produced some absolutely delicious meals, especially for me liking spicy Thai dishes.
The hotel's spa is fantastic, helping me to unwind over several visits. I definitely suggest a visit to the spa if staying here!
Proximity to bus and sky train is great, just minutes from the hotel. I preferred the sky train which was about 8 minutes walk and to go to the MBK was just 28 baht and minutes away.
You'll enjoy your stay here for sure!
"Very nice serviced apartment stay for a family..."
Normally, I chose hotels with minimum kitchen and appliances to comfort our stay.... we have 2 toddlers and it is essential for us to have comfortable living place during vacation - rather than just one room with restricted place to move around. And, that is the reason for choosing this hotel, and the hotel facilities proved our choice was the best.
It is definitely a business district; but it is only 10~15 mins travel for local shopping and 5mins walk to MRT. The concierge service in the hotel is very good and helped to customise the tours for the timing which were comfortable to us.
