"We had a very comfortable 8-night stay. It’s set in a very quite village with beautiful views of Wensleydale, exactly what we wanted. It was clean, had a good shower and equipped with everything we needed, including some kids toys and dvd’s which came in handy. The owner was very responsive and accommodating with our questions and asks. Would happily stay again."

"We had a wonderful stay in River Cottage. The house is fabulous, with everything you could possibly need. The views of the river are spectacular and we loved sitting in the conservatory watching it racing by. This house doesn't want for anything and was perfect for our family. We would highly recommend it."

"Lovely bungalow with a secure garden for the children to play out in. The location is perfect, really quiet and peaceful, the perfect place to unwind in the countryside. "As ever, heavenly! We spent a lovely 5 days at barn acre. The weather though changeable was excellent and gave us a chance to continue to explore the area. Bolton castle is a must. We were able to return to barn acre knowing that it is a wonderful base. Everything you need for a very comfortable visit. This is our third visit and won’t be our last. We thank the owners for their cosy home from home and their lovely welcome package."

"Property was as described on Vrbo , fairly easy to locate , although (What 3 Words ) app might be an idea to add to info . on arrival parking space was inadequate for family size car . Outside of property there was rubbish left by front door ie old floor covering and wood which didn’t give a good first impression . House was clean , and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay . Only down side was the smell of damp .. overall happy with our stay ."

"My husband and I had 5 glorious nights at the Bothy and wished it could have been longer. Juliet and her husband were really helpful and accommodating, the apartment was lovely and comfortable, and quintessentially English, and we both fell in love with the sheep. "There are only 3 pods, which protects the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The view is exceptional and a place to truly relax. The pods offer a good standard of living space with a lovely hot shower and a really comfortable bed. The local sheep add an interesting intro to being in the countryside and lovely to watch. The pod is reached by a narrow single track road but this didn’t cause us any difficulties. The location is great for getting most places in the Dales. We will definitely be back. "
