"This was probably the most ideal self catering property my daughter and I have stayed in since we started annual visits to Dartmouth in 1998. We loved the location, peaceful yet just a short drive to the town. The accommodation was spotless, spacious and provided everything we needed. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and the free range eggs, milk and scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam were an unexpected treat. A delightful stay in every way."

"There was black mould in bedroom 3 and in the bathroom. This meant we had to move the bed as black mould is dangerous. The fridge was off when we arrived and took a long time to chill. There were no teaspoons. No hand towels anywhere and the bed springs had gone in 2 beds. The sheets were so old they were rough and bobbly. "Beautiful place to spend Christmas. Serene, with the waves crashing below. It felt very christmassy especially with the tasteful decorations that had been arranged at the property. It has a very well stocked kitchen, is very comfortable and clean – it’s just the perfect to hang out and cook. Lovely walks close by and a shortish stroll in to Salcombe. Situated down a narrow access road, which proved difficult at times but within easy driving distance to Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Dartmouth.
