"Our second visit and it certainly did not disappoint. From our arrival, being met in the car park, through our stay to the very last minute, the staff could not do enough for us. Room was spacious and well laid out. Lemon cake already in the room was delicious. Grounds are amazing especially if like me, you are interested in plants, their growth and wellbeing. The orchard and veg/herb gardens are a joy. We opted for the tasting menu which was wonderful. Strawberry dessert was to die...

"Everything was wonderful from the moment we arrived. We had a 3 night winter stay that was delightful from breakfast through to dinner. The food, charming interiors and staff were all excellent, fabulous memories for us."

"Cons: Noisy air conditioning that can't be stopped completely. Cramped public areas around reception, breakfast etc. Ancient and creaking lifts that take forever to come. Pros: Great location across the street from the Ashmoleum etc, excellent onsite parking and concierge service. Overall needs a referb and modernisation."

"The rooms are in excellent condition. Felt modern, comfortable and clean. On-site free parking was a bonus. Great to have a restaurant in the hotel as well. Location was peaceful and not far from shops and restaurants."

"This was a lovely B and B on the direct bus route (5-10 minutes) into Oxford city. Ashley, who manages the place was great, very friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant and cosy, and the en-suite clean and modern, if a bit tiny."
