My husband and I arrived early for check in to be greeted by a very friendly gentleman on reception. Although our room was not quite ready we only had a 25 minute wait. We booked a sea view room with balcony which was located on the 3rd floor. Our room was quiet small but more than big enough for 2 people. But the Balcony view was absolutely amazing. The room was lovely with neutral coloured furniture and was very clean. There was a fridge with drinks which could be purchased at a reasonable...

Great communications from start to finish. Location is spot on, close enough to the centre but down a side st so quiet enough as well. I don't usually do reviews but felt compelled to write on this time. Do not hesitate to book here, you certainly won't be disappointed.

This is a wonderful gem of a hotel with fantastic views over the sea. The rooms are stylish with comfortable beds. The food is amazing all served at the table so no annoying buffet queues.
It’s position is great with shops bars and entertainment a few steps away.

Perfect location, right next to the beach, not on top of the clubs but near enough to everything. Apartment was very clean, well equipped, ideal for what we needed. Paid for the early check in at 2pm which was no problem, all door and apartment codes were sent the day before arrival. If I had to pick a fault, it would be not having anywhere to store our cases on our departure day, it was ok as we only had hand luggage but if you’re staying for longer you probably wouldn’t want to have to have a...

A two day stay at this hotel in the hub of café culture and shops to browse. 4th floor room a little noisy if you kept the window open as the street below was full of tables for the cafés, bars, restaurants and they were moved away during early hours of night.
Wear earplugs, close the window, turn on the AC and it's fine!
Good speed wifi in the room and can get the signal still if you sit outside at the ONE BAR. Drinks and snacks there are cheap but good. Tables are always full!

Accommodation basic but very clean. Bed sheets spotless. Well equipped kitchenette with fridge/freezer and microwave. Only problem was TV programs all in Spanish (yeah, well?) and just sky sports and news in English. Hotel staff very helpful, all spoke English. They moved me from the room I was in to another which got all the afternoon sun. Estudios Benidorm is situated at the top of the old town with a taxi rank opposite and a short walk to the bus stops (no. 10 bus) which takes you to Altea...

What a charming, and perfectly located hotel. Shower was good and powerful. Room was sizeable and airy with good bed comfort. In the heart of the old town which is so charming. Would definitely recommend

This was an exceptional hotel. There isn't one thing I can say negative about it. Really high end. Looked and smelt great. Food and facilities were fabulous.

Really lovely place by the beach. Warm welcome from the lady who does the housekeeping. Lovely terrace, spacious clean room, with a lovely partial sea view. Good air con. Really handy to have a fridge in the room too! Could maybe do with some conditioner / shampoo, and is a little noisy from the road.

What is the best area to stay in Old Town Benidorm?
The best area to stay in Old Town Benidorm is within the Old Town itself, particularly around the Church of San Jaime and Santa Ana.
This area is the historic heart of Benidorm, characterised by narrow, pedestrianised streets, traditional white-washed buildings, and a relaxed, Spanish feel. It's built on a headland between the two main beaches, Levante and Poniente, offering excellent views and easy access to both. The Balcón del Mediterráneo, a well-known viewpoint, is a central landmark here.
Couples often find this area superb for a romantic getaway. The winding streets are full of charming tapas bars and restaurants, ideal for evening strolls and enjoying local cuisine. The nearby Levante Beach provides a lively setting for daytime relaxation, while the slightly quieter Poniente Beach is also just a short walk away.
For solo travellers, the Old Town offers a welcoming and convenient base. You'll find plenty of opportunities to mingle in the local bars and cafes, and the compact nature of the area makes it easy to explore on foot.
When is the best time to go to Old Town Benidorm?
The best time to visit Old Town Benidorm is typically during the shoulder seasons, specifically April-May and September-October.
These months offer a comfortable climate, with warm but not excessively hot temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the narrow streets and enjoying the beaches without the peak summer crowds. You'll find the area's many traditional tapas bars and local shops are all fully open, providing a lively yet relaxed atmosphere.
Couples looking for a romantic getaway will appreciate the quieter beaches and more intimate dining experiences available during these times. The pleasant weather is superb for leisurely strolls through the historic old town, perhaps visiting the Church of San Jaime and Santa Ana or enjoying the views from the Balcón del Mediterráneo.
For those travelling with family, the shoulder seasons provide a more relaxed holiday experience compared to the bustling summer. The sea is still warm enough for swimming, and the less crowded beaches and attractions make it easier to navigate with children.
