“functional and modern”

Boutique hôtel. Modern and good use of space. Friendly enough in service but is not a 4 star. For my purposes, it served well. Good food at the restaurant which was same but abbreviated menu for room service. Beds are good. Towels new and clean. Not walking distance to anything but the T. Good distance in between suburbs of Boston and the city if one needs to travel both ways. One noisy night but did not appear to be the norm (next door to Bachelor at Bachelor party?). Quick access to I-90 and I-95.

“Dependable hotel for business, friendly staff, clean”

I've stayed at the Indigo many times for business, and it's still my favorite. The rooms are on the small side, but not tiny. The staff is friendly and helpful (more so than I would expect in Boston) and the rooms are clean. I'm a fan.

“Adequate but not spectacular”

I booked this hotel blindly as an Expedia special, and it did meet my needs. One night, business trip, needed to be close to I-95. In-room wi-fi was a must and it worked without any connectivity problems, so that was good. The $7 parking fee was insulting, not sure why they do that. Tried to get some coffee in the am to take on the road. There is a full service restaurant but other than that just a kiosk. The lone staffer there could not handle the crowd, it was VERY slow and I had to leave for my meeting with no coffee :(. The in-room coffee machine has mugs, not disposable cups-- a choice would be nice so we could make coffee in the room and take it with us. Room was small but bed was comfortable and view of the train station was kind of intersting. There were corners of the room that were inadequately vacuumed, especially around the bed, but I tried not to look. The bed cover was some sort of duvet with sheets on top and bottom. The sheets didn't stay on well to keep it covered and the duvet itself had a small blood stain, yuck. I have to say, though, that I am picky and no hotel these days really seems to have superb housekeeping and these issues come up everywhere. Staff was friendly overall.

Restaurant was great- first class food as well as service. Room was tiny and bathroom even smaller. No guest laundry but had free Wi Fi.Facilities new but bathroom could benefit from a clean with bleach. Staff very friendly and helpful. Complimentary cider and apples in foyer a nice touch!

Very spartan. Not enough space in bathroom. Very noisy air conditioner. Kept waking me up. Got charged for coffee in the morning.

“Quiet and Comfortable”

Perfectly acceptable time. The restaurant was great, live music. The room and beds were comfortable and clean.

“Close to T (train)”

This hotel is right at the end of the Riverside T train and easy to get in and out of the city. The only issue with thta is there is not a walk way to the hotel from the T you have to walk up hill to the front of the hotel to get in. The hotel was clean on the surface but I think there are some easy fixes that should have been done. There were stains on the throw pillows in our room, the towel rack had been pulled from the wall and they did not fix the holes or replace the rack and there was no trash can in the bathroom. It was decorated very modern throughout the hotel. The pool and gym were clean and beautiful. The restaurant is realy nice but also high end and pricey so make sure you bring some extra cash and dressy clothes if you want to eat dinner on site. The breakfast set up was a little strange compared to what I am used to. Parking is convenient but it is $7 per night. The was no information in the room or given to us at the front desk about local places to go or what time things are done. There wasn't any direction as to where things were located or what time they were open from. I felt like I had to bug the front desk for everything. they were very helpful and nice but I think a book about the hotel or pamphlet would help people who are not familiar with the area. All and all it was a decent hotel but I just expected a little more customer service and a little less flash.
