"The host was so tentative and welcoming, and then left us to enjoy the lovely property. There were 13 of us and we all had a lovely time. The dining arrangements in the kitchen were great and allowed us to all sit together to eat. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge area was comfortable. The games room was the added bonus and it was lovely to sit outside on the seating area with table. The only comment was the lack of mirrors for all the women trying to get ready at once lol. The...

"We had a fantastic weekend at Oaklands. The location is beautiful & the house had everything we needed. There were logs ready by the log burner and the welcome biscuits were, indeed, very welcome!"

"Adorable and quirky little house, oozing with character. Comfy beds, great location for local shops and restaurants, and as a base to explore the area. Only slight negative for us was getting used to town noises as we live in a village. The Combat Collection at Cobatton, and Instow beach (both recommended by the host) are worth a visit, and my boys (16 & 14) loved outdoor laser tag at Survival Combat Games."

"We had a great time at Sea La Vie. It's a fab location, just sit outside to hear the sea and waves coming in, and that's pretty much all you can hear apart from the odd seagull! It's so quiet. Great base for a relaxed surfing holiday. Really well equipped kitchen. We didn't get in the car once in 8 days as there was everything we needed within a short walk. Highly likely we'll be back!"

"Really appreciated the ramped access, the lodge is at one level. Suited us well as our son has limited mobility. Co-op just down the lane was great, we went everyday. We had a lot of rain but the terrace seating must be lovely in the summer. We still appreciated the incredible views from there, we just didn’t sit out. There were four of us staying and the living area was very comfortable."

"Poyers Farmhouse is a perfect cottage for 2 families and 2 dogs. The rooms are all spacious and quirky and work really well for 2 families. We found everything we needed and the hot tub and garden were appreciated by everyone. It is in a great location, walking distance to the Tarka Trail, Braunton and a good pub 5 minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend."

"Three generations stayed here and all loved it. My 5 year old grandson was amazed at the “upside down” house. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Location was good for getting around. "Great location, easy to find, short drive to the beach. Garage with shop just round the corner 😁. Everything you need is provided in the property. Had no issues with any of the heating or hot water. Will definitely return in the future. I will add that the pictures don't do the property justice, much bigger then it looks. Very comfortable bed slept very well just what we needed a well earned rested getaway. Highly recommended"

"We had a fabulous week in your beautiful apartment. We call this the doggos holiday as we do everything they love, spend all day and night with them while they run, walk, swim, play ball eat and sleep. Perfect location for our week, beautiful views, coastal walks and beaches. Lots of places to eat and drink on the doorstep in Mortehoe or venture into Woolacombe , eat at Barricane Beach, is highly recommended and Lee Bay, Grampous Inn is a must .Croyde for the Manor House.
