Went to this hotel most staff dont speak English but 1 or 2 do but they all are very helpful, they helped us find places when we asked also arranged trips for us for good prices, the hotel is 15-20 minutes walk to the markets its out of the way which is good and makes it relaxing. Also we had a top view of the pool area was nice to see from there over all is a good hotel I would recommend it
We were very happy with our whole experience at the Atlas Medina Hotel in Marrakesh. The staff were all lovely and I have nothing but praise for everyone: reception staff, restaurant staff, room service, the manager and and bell boys. The rooms are a good size (I hate "compact" hotel room), the bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have balcony. We found everyone there to be unfailingly polite and helpful.
An added bonus was the band in the bar, a talented duo who can play anything it seems and we had many a pleasant evening listening to them play a wide variety of songs ranging from the Moody Blues to Cat Stevens and Fairuz!
I would definitely stay here again next time I visit the Red City.

Second stay at the Atlas Asni and was great to be back. The staff and ambience are excellent and good value for money. It is one of the quietest hotels I have stayed in. L'Hivernage is off the main drag, however still within walking distance of the famous square, mosque and soks. Reception staff will arrange trips to local areas for you and are very helpful and friendly. Will go back again and again.
This hotel is outside the Medina and maybe a 20 min walk to the Jma El Fna Square, however it is situated on a main road and is very easy to reach, with a taxi stand right next door. The rooms were huge - if a little bare and the beds incredibly comfy. Make sure you request a poolside room or odd number otherwise you will be facing the road which gets quite busy at night. Bathroom and toilet are separate which was perfect as I was sharing with my mum. Bathroom is well equipped but the shower was a little lacking in pressure. Pool was perfect especially after walking the dusty square and Medina. Always loads of space and towels available. Only disappointment was despite several requests early breakfast was not delivered and we left for a very early morning flight on hungry tummies. Overall - very good
We wanted relaxing, high standard accommodation with a Moroccan feel. This is exactly what we found. The Riad had good space, a beautiful pool area, high standard room with character, a good pool, good restaurant and staff that could not do enough to make our staff comfortable. We were accompanied by our 21/22 year old children who also found the Riad a great experience. The location was a 15 minute walk to the centre of the Medina or a short, well priced taxi ride. We were very pleased that we chose Dar Rhizlane just being outside the Medina because of the extra space compared with Riads located in the Medina and having the benefit of getting away from the noise, bustle and traffic. As well as being convenient for the Medina, Dar Rhizlane is also well located for the new town and good restaurants located there. We also had great assistance in hiring a tour guide for the Medina (essential for new comers) and for out of town tours to the Atlas Mountain area.
Things to be borne in mind. Marrakech is a noisy city and total silence is almost impossible to guarantee. You will hear some traffic noise from within the hotel area but nothing that could be considered intrusive. It is certainly quieter than Medina locations. Also, Morocco does not have European smoking restrictions therefore guests may smoke. This is the case throughout the city and we did not have any experiences at Dar Rhizlane that we, as non-smokers, found intrusive.
We will certainly return.

The El Andalous staff are very polite and helpful. The breakfast is great and it made a lovely change to eat by the pool each morning. The pool is very clean and just what you want after sunbathing. The poolside bar is good for lunch and go for a hamman in the spa. The beds were comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. Ask for a poolside room on the 4th or 5th floor! The hotel is only a short taxi ride (20Dirhams-GBP2ish hotel advice) from the Madina. Do not pay more than 40D after dark. The souks are great, the haggling is good fun and if you are daring offer a 1/3 of their starting price and pay about 50%, do not go much higher. When you start to leave is when they deal. There is plenty of choice and you will find the same item in another shop! Give it a go! Wish London shopping was as much fun. Crossing the road is fantastic fun if a little intimidating. It is a madhouse, cars, buses, mopeds, and people going in all directions simultaneously. Just cross next to a local with them on the danger side. Ha. The Complexe Artisanal, north of the Koutoubia is a must, very tranquil and the shops are cheaper too! Eating in a restaurant facing onto Jamaa El Fna is another must. Food is great and the view is hypnotic. The hustle and bustle never stops, snake charmers are fab as is a glass of orange juice from a stall. The hotel chauffeur service from the airport makes a great difference. I took my girlfriend for her birthday and we will be going back for sure. Thanks El Andalous!

Great grounds, with two excellent swimming pools. Very good buffets at the main restaurant and very friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient for central Marrakech. Our two 7 year old daughters loved it.

Overall, hotel room was comfortable and clean. However, wi-fi access was extremely poor (good if you don't really want to access the internet). Door lock was broken when I arrived and wasn't fixed until 2 days after. One of the lifts was broken for 3 out of the 7 days there, which meant long queues! Staff were quite unwelcoming and seemed uninterested in helping.
Location wasn't very good - about 10-15 minutes drive away from the Medina. Nearest eating place was right by the train station. A kebab place was opening just as we were leaving.
