"Al Porto Di Lucca is a lovely old property that has been tasefully renovated and decorated to combine modern facilities (such as the bathrooms) with the original features and furniture in keeping with the age and style of the house. We stayed in the room Maria Teresa facing the lovely quiet garden with a balcony and wished our weather during our stay had allowed us to make more use of that feature. Our hosts Giovanna & Francesco and staff were very friendly and the breakfast provided was very...
"Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and bed was comfortable and air con worked very well in bedroom in a heatwave! Breakfast room was a little tight for the number of guests staying and air con did not really operate that well in reception area and breakfast room. We enjoyed our stay in Lucca and Villa Romantica!"
"Both my wife and myself felt that the staff person on the front desk really made this hotel special. She was efficient, knowledgeable, provided great directions to the old city and her English is excellent! Very helpful and friendly. The other staff were very good."
"This is the second time I've stayed at this property and once again it was a very rewarding experience. It's a family run hotel and there is a great deal of warmth toward customers. My room was well maintained and I really like the fact that there was always somebody at the front desk in the event I had a question. Giovanni was very helpful on arranging transport for me to the train station.. I look forward to return to Lucca when I do, hopefully I'll be able to stay at this property again."
"We loved everything about Relais San Lorenzo. Daniela is a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. The building is beautiful and dates from the 17th century, but everything is in top condition and works really well. The location is absolutely perfect. Very highly recommended. This was our first time in Lucca and we loved the city. We hope to return and will definitely stay in Relais San Lorenzo again!"
"Great location just outside the historical centre and beside the train station. Very clean and a good breakfast included. Staff is very nice and accommodating. "
