We enjoyed some lovely walks and explored the castle and church. In the evenings we played board games in the cosy sitting room and the formal dining room made mealtimes special. The pool is more of a plunge pool but we expected that and the setting in the orchard was really nice. "Six friends with much to catch up on so a good deal of time spent in this lovely cottage round the kitchen table. The welcome hamper was especially appreciated and as we quickly discovered the bedrooms and general layout was spacious and beautifully maintained.The gardens were also a special delight with ample parking for three cars. Excellent meals at fairly local pubs and the most outstanding Garden Centre called Oakchurch was a a real find. We won't hesitate to book again."
