"Extremely comfortable home with a great sense of history. I booked for four days to take my four adult children and my teenage grandson away to celebrate a birthday. We enjoyed some lovely walks and explored the castle and church. In the evenings we played board games in the cosy sitting room and the formal dining room made mealtimes special. "Our family had a great time at this lovely house. Location is ideal for city centre but is very quiet. One of us has trouble climbing stairs, and the single study bedroom on the ground floor plus the downstairs toilet were great to have. The hosts were very responsive when we had trouble getting the heating to work. Communication was excellent. Highly recommended!"

"Charming and well equipped cottage in a nice village. Plenty of space to chill and everyone slept well as the beds and bedding were very comfy. Nice walk around the village and lovely to hear the bells chime at the local church. Simon was a very accommodating host and the welcome hamper was much appreciated. The Nags Head in Canon Pyon (about an 8 minute drive) serves great food with a smile."
