"This is one the cheapest places to stay in Saas-Fee and, of course, you get what you pay for. But the Walser is a very basic annexe of the Hotel Tenne where you check in. The room was old but clean and reasonably well appointed. But there is a derelict air about the rest of the place. Don't be fooled by pictures here and elsewhere of a comfortable lounge etc. The public room - which was once a bar and breakfast room - is a bit of a dump and looks completely neglected. "A cozy tiny house, on a sunny mountainside with great views. In a calm, authentic little town. A great surprise for us was the path, just at the end of the garden, who takes you on a beautiful trip around the mountain.
