"The Lodge is lovely and is much cozier than the photos showed. It's so well equipped with games, books, huge fireplace, comfy couches and native blankets to wrap up in if desired, interesting artifacts in a very quiet forest location. Our room, Sacajewa, was very nice, just as the photo's showed. My only suggestion would be to confirm a day ahead that the code to the lodge and room would be left for you and the bedding for the couch if you asked for it and the remote for the fireplace work. "Very well managed, and taken care of! So many delightful things to see and enjoy; items from the past, books and decorations. Very pleasant ambience. A nice size small fridge, basic dishes and utensils and plenty of coffee! Very comfortable beds and very quiet!"

"Manitou Lodge is in a beautiful tropical forested area. The Lodge and our bedroom were homey and nice. Our bed was the most cushy of all on our road-trip. The bathroom, however needs attention. The outdated pink tub had black mold everywhere! The sink area also needs replacing. "
