"Das Haus war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ist wirklich schön. Leider war das Geschirr nicht so sauber an einigen Tassen, Tellern und Schüsseln waren Essensreste. Aber haben wir dank der Spülmaschine schnell beseitigt. Ein Staubsauger wäre optimal, für zwischendurch. Der Blick auf den See ist perfekt, allerdings das Haus liegt es auch direkt an einer sehr befahrenen Hauptstraße und das Schlafzimmer an der Straße ist was für Frühaufsteher!!!!! Fazit: ok und Invarary ist wirklich nett."

"The lodge was perfect for an outdoor family like us with dogs. Location is quite remote but that's what we like. We'd advise going stocked up with food and drink before going. there is a pub within walking distance with pub food and a great pool table. Meals were after 6pm. "The cottage was very large ,with 4 bathrooms the bedrooms were large and comfortable the only downside was the lack of wardrobes in all bedrooms and we found the television very small for the size of the lounge. I know you don't go to watch television but when the weather is not to good and you have small children you need somethig of a decent size to watch . "Tucked away at the top of the village this little cottage was comfortable and had a very well equipped kitchen. The pictures don't do it justice, it's great place. A lovely walk to Kilmartin (20 minutes if you find an overgrown shortcut through the back wood). My top tip, take birdseed for the feeders and breakfast becomes a fantastic show of local birdlife."

"This is a very well stocked property with everything you could need. It is a little 'tired' in that it does need some redecoration. it is spacious yet compact. The location is out of this world with so many wonderful views and beautiful places to visit. I loved the ferry connections with other parts of Argyll and the islands."

"Particularly enjoyed the spaciousness and comfort of the accommodation. The maps for walks in and around the estate were an unexpected bonus, which was taken full advantage of. A surprising coincidental connection to the estate owner. The flapjacks were the best we'd ever tasted (recipe?)! The only disappointment was the DVD/CD player incompatible with the TV/sound system, so were unable to enjoy the music and movies we'd brought. Otherwise, a well deserved 5 stars!"

"We arrived in the dark and took a minute to realise that the cottage was up a short path. Once in we found it warm and welcoming with lots of homely touches. Everything we needed was there. I was an excellent base from which to explore the local area with superb, less visited hills nearby."

"Our cottage served as the perfect base for exploration, from Arran to Glencoe. It was easy to find, and convenient to main routes. It offered a great view of Loch Fyne, and plenty of easy walking around the area. It was helpful to have a clothes washer, and the kitchen was modern and well equipped. Highly recommended."

"It was comfortable and clean. Big space for a large party. Beds were good with fresh white bedding. Large rooms. Lovely old original features. Breath taking views. Quiet places to walk. "The room was rather small but cozy and had everything we needed. Staff was friendly and informative. There is parking right across the street that was very easy to access and allowed you to pay in advance for overnight parking. Very close to the Main Street and beautiful views."
