Perfect location

Posted 15-Jun-2014
Cons: Stairs were a little dark to climb at night to get to the B&B entrance, consider putting motion sensor lights on each stairway landing.
Only stayed one night but wish I could have stayed longer. Owner gave me great walking directions by email to find the place. Ideal location, around the corner from the Uffizi and close to the vecchio bridge. Lots of restaurants nearby. Nice room, modern bathroom. My room was near the breakfast area so it was a little noisy in the morning, but it was time to get up anyhow. Simple but adequate breakfast provided. Owners were very friendly and accommodating! Would definitely recommend!

Cons: Nothing to think of that need improvement. Keep up the good work.
Location: It in the heart of the city. Walking distance to the train station.
We enjoy our stay very much but it is a challenge for us when we reach as there is no lift n we have to carry our luggage up to the reception.

Excellent location for a small hotel.

Posted 07-Apr-2014
Pros: Location, size, convenience
Cons: Nothing
Only stayed one night. Walkable from train stain with rolling luggage. Excellent location. Charming hostess. All we could hope for in a city B &B. Stairs are not a problem for us.

Everything you need in Florence, a few steps away

Posted 22-Feb-2014
Pros: Location was excellent and the breakfast bar was very well stocked.
Cons: The bedroom doors are thin and you can hear noise from common room and the motion sensing lights are on very short timers.
Location: Everything is close, plenty of places to eat. Nothing was more than 10 minutes walk.
We booked this for two days in Florence primarily based on location. Overall, it was incredibly convenient, everything just a short walking distance. We planned a whole day at the Uffizi and it was less than 200 meters from the museum. The rooms are nice and the morning B&B breakfast fare was well above the normal you see in Italy (we live in Southern Italy). We found the bedroom doors too thin, a lot of noise bled over from the common room. The motion detectors meant that the lights in the common areas turned off prematurely. We were very happy with the location and service and would go back.

Pros: Good location. The accommodation was spacious, clean and well maintained. Staff very helpful.
Cons: Breakfast was fine, however they can consider providing cooked breakfast.
Location: Excellent location. Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, Duomo all within stones throw. Get out of the hotel and you immediately feel the buzz around.

Good location near train station and sites.

Posted 08-Oct-2013
Pros: Great location with wonderful staff. Free wifi and breakfast...always a plus.
Cons: Check-in hours later in the afternoon. Difficult to make the 1:00 (1300) cut-off for some travelers.
Location: Easy to get to major sites, or accross the river to better, less expensive food.
Nice little hotel, 100 yds from the Uffizi and within 15 minute walk to train station. Free wifi, nice breakfast, friendly staff. Location is a bit noisy in the early morning hours, but not bad. Rooms are nicely appointed and clean. Staff is very accommodating, but limited check-in hours, so make sure to communicate your arrival via email. We had to leave Assisi very early in the morning to reach the hotel by the 1:00 pm (1300 hrs) deadline for check-in. We arrived quite early, about 9:00 am, walked to the hotel with our backpacks/luggage, and luckily got into the building (one of the tenants let us in) to climb the stairs up to the hotel. The owner was very accommodating, offering to store our packs until our room was ready. She even gave us coffee and breakfast, which was quite sweet. We would stay here again.

Comfortable apartment

Posted 30-Sep-2013
Pros: Everything!
Location: Very central all the attractions of Florence available with in walking distance
This apartment near one of the central squares in Florence is run by a brother and sister both who were extremely nice and helpful. About a 15 minute walk to the train station. The room was very clean and included breakfast in a small area near reception. This was a serve yourself so you could have as much or as little as you liked. It is about a 3 minute walk to the Uffizi gallery and in the other direction to a market square full of handbags and many other souvenirs. Be mindful of the prices in the gallery square Piazza de Signora as depending on where you are seated also changes the prices of beverages available. Also a short walk to the Duomo which is well worth a visit and climb.

Comfortable hotel in great location

Posted 17-Sep-2013
Pros: Location and friendly hospitality.
Cons: Nil
Location: See above. So close to the city centre and historical attractions.
Greeted warmly by owners. A B&B with only a small group of rooms, thus friendly and quiet. Located a short distance from Signoria Piazza, few short blocks to Repubblica Piazza, Ponte Vecchio, and the Cathedral, the location could not be improved. We were looked after so well, definitely a benefit of a small hotel.

Clean, charming b&b in the center of Florence

Posted 10-Sep-2013
Pros: Location, owners.
Cons: Breakfast is a bit slight, but sufficient.
Location: In the center of it all - walking distance to everything!
La Signoria do Firenze is a great find in the middle of everything most visitors want to see in Florence, and yet not overly loud. The owners are pleasant and accommodating, and make a great cappuccino! The rooms are a bit sparse but nice, authentic and incredibly clean. Overall, this is a great value in a great location!

wonderful experience

Posted 06-Aug-2013 on Hotels.com
I enjoyed a fantastic stay at this beautiful B&B. The location is perfect for everthing, just steps away from the Plaza de Signoria at one end of the tiny street with its Palazzo Vechio etc, and the "new" Mercato (market) with the famous porcelino at the other end. However, it is very quiet and tranquil.Other major attractions are all witin 5-10 minutes' walk away. The owners of the B&B - brother and sister Luciano and Luciana are charming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good! My single room was adeqare in size, spotlessly clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this wonderful B&B and will definitely stay here again when visiting Firenze!,
