"This is a fantastic property. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Although close to the main road (and easy access to local amenities, walks and beautiful beaches), it is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed having the pool/ping pong table in the lounge. Would love to return for another stay."

"A very nicely refurbished cottage with all necessary equipment and appliances. 50 metres walk to the mostly deserted beach. Not much to do in Powfoot itself, so driving is essential. Caravan park cafe very good and Powfoot hotel good if you don't have a dog."

"Even the drive along the narrow lane some minutes away from property highlights you are going somewhere special. A location that cannot be bettered, the house was spacious with bags of character. We all just loved the place. Surrounding countryside beautiful and lets pay a little tribute to village cafe in Auchencairn. Don't go to Kippford and not visit Auchencairn 10 mins away."

"Lazydays is a really lovely cottage down a side street (parking outside no problems at all). It's a minutes walk to the main street with lots of choices to eat and some nice walks. Great communication from the owner. Definitely recommended !"

"This was a great break in a gorgeous property. Everything was as described, including the facilities and location / proximity to the beach. I had no concerns about the dogs in the garden with the high and fully secure fence and all rooms were spacious to accommodate us. This was our third stay in Southerness and most certainly the best property we have stayed in. We will be back."
