"We (5 persons) spent 2 weeks in the house and enjoyed a very relaxing time. The house has enough space, everything is clean and appears like new. We spent a lot of time on the balcony which protects you from the wind (if it is windy). We loved the house and the balcony with the view on the small beach with the sunset. "This property is ideally located for visiting the Pyrenees Orientales area. A short walk into both Collioure and Port Vendres. The property is well laid out and well equipped the views from both balconies are lovely. The location is also a good base to travel out from. We travelled to Ceret, which has a fabulous Saturday market, and the area around it. We travelled into Spain to the Gulf of Roses the journey around the high coast road was spectacular. "Before our departure from Canada, we shared the listing with family. They all said the same thing: too good to be true. They were all wrong, it is even better than the listing. A typical Catalan home that is clearly loved and maintained that includes relics of its family past. Just beautiful. We had strong winds but the house did not budge… impressive. Rachel, the caretaker is 100% available and is nearby to answer any question. We would like to return."

"Maison de pêcheur idéalement située à 5 min à pied de la plage Dans une ruelle absolument ravissante La vue de notre chambre sur la montagne, avec le bougainvillier était sublime. Maison propre, chambres correctes, salles de douche refaites à neuf. Lave linge lave vaisselle etc Mais gros gros bémol de cette location : même pas un canapé, uniquement des chaises pliantes et une cour minuscule dont la table de jardin prend toute la place, du coup difficile pour les enfants de jouer dehors....

"La maison est fonctionnel et agréable avec des adultes et adulescents. Les lits sont très bien, aussi la petite piscine. Marcher vers le centre de Collioure est très agreable. L'accueil étais tres mal. La maison n'étais pas nettoyé quand nous sommes arrive vers 18.00 heures. Il n'y avais pas de servettes et de draps (comme reservé en advance). Finallement on a nettoyé la maison et emporté les draps et servettes, après demander plusieurs fois!"

"Overall it was a good stay. The only thing i had an issue with was it was advertised with air conditioning. There is a big machine there that give air, but its more a fan than air conditioning. That became difficult to control as i had to constantly change the bucket of water filling up from the machine"
