“Nice hotel”

This hotel is located outside the Brugge city center. Has free parking and a shuttle into town if needed. Rooms were clean and larger than most European hotels. Room rate includes free wifi. Beds are very comfortable. Have stayed here a few times and will be back. I have traveled extensively in Europe for the past 5 years and this is one of the better hotels.

Area recommendations

Brugge City Center has everything to include chocolate, lace, and the Madonna by Michaelangelo. Food prices were a little high but portions were big. Also over 600 different beers in Belgium and most shops/restaurants staff speak English.

“Excellent hotel”

This hotel was definately a good choice. The parking is not a problem, the people were extremely friendly and were very helpful. The hotel is about 5 miles drive from the centre and we found the t'Zand central car park very easy to use and very reasonable (we were there for about 3 hours and it cost us 3 euros 50) so this is an all round winner. The rooms are extremely spacious, clean and well laid out and I would definately say it was one of the best hotels I have stayed in throughout Europe. When I saw it was a Best Western I was dubious but this hotel is run by "family and friends" which adds the more personal touch. Breakfast is also good. I would definatly go here again

“Impressive Hotel”

This was an excellent choice of hotel after reading the reviews. It met every expectation and much more. The rooms were clean, large, well decorated, and had superb furnishings. The staff were very informative, professional and friendly. High-speed internet was complimentary, the parking ample and free. Driving to Bruges was low-cost if you parked at the main train station car park (2.50 euros/day). Continental breakfast was ample. The proactively helpful nature of the staff shone after one of us developed a massive toothache from a dental abscess that required a visit to the Emergency Department in Bruges. Katrina, the lady on duty at the desk made the call for a local dentist, and as one was not immediately available, advised the hospital visit with the correct address. The problem was solved. In summary, one of the best hotels in Bruges, easily accessible by car, quiet location, excellent staff/ facilities/ surroundings. If you are driving to Bruges, this is the place to stay.

“Weinebrugge”

Great hotel. A bit outside the city but they have a shuttle that will take you in and out at scheduled times throughout the day. We drove our car into the centrum and parked downtown without a problem. Wireless interent was great and they had a few English channels on the telly. Room was new and clean. Beds were comfortable after walking thru Brugge all day. Also, it is right off the motorway and was a 15 mintue drive north to Oostende centrum and the North Sea Coast and the boardwalk. Would like to come back and spend more than 2 days.

Area recommendations

See the Belfort (Belfry) and the Basilica with the Blood of Christ Relic. The chocolate shops are wonderful.

“High Quality at a reasonable price”

We searched expedia for a good deal for our stay in Brugges and came across this hotel. As we drove across from the UK we wanted somewhere where we could leave the car where we wouldn't rack up high parking charges. The hotel was spotless and the room was well proportioned. Set in the outskirts of the city the hotel was quiet and peaceful yet still close enough for city visits. Easy access to the hotel from the Motorway and only 10 minutes drive to the centre of the City. Parking at the Hotel was free and the parking in the Brugge was extremely good value (Centrum carpark) at around 1.5 Euros per hour.

“Excellent Bruges Hotel”

This hotel is definitely worth a visit. It is very good value for money. The breakfast was excellent. The room was extremely comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Traveller's tip

Try the restaurant/tea room called t'Pallieterke in t'Zand Square. The food is reasonably priced and absolutely superb. I had grilled chicken which sounds boring, but it melted in my mouth, like no other chicken I've had before. My husband had Flemish stew, which I am told was equally as delicious. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.

“Spotless hotel in a quiet location.”

A hotel in a quiet location, less than a minute from the E40, and nice and clean. With a first class restaurant and service made this Best Western a hotel I will return to. Free parking(at the time of writing), which may sound strange, but lots of hotels are now charging for this. How I wish it had a swimming pool that I could sit beside sipping my red wine...

If you have a car and are going into town, the station car park is cheap for a whole day.
