"Well located guest house which is undergoing refurbishment so covered in scaffolding. My room was up several flights of stairs. Very convenient location. Very friendly staff and nice breakfast. Good value for Bristol and comfortable bed. Parking is awkward as the car park is small and the roads have restrictions."

"When I went to check in the person behind the counter told me I did not have a reservation. This then began a series of events that caused significant stress. My phone was out of power as was my lap top. I took my lap top to a neighboring hotel where I was able to see I DID have a reservation. That person was not there when I returned but check in was fine. When I eventually saw the person in question he said I must have made the reservation that day with no apology"

We highly recommend the free mayor’s tour of the city with knowledgeable guides that walk you all around the sites and up to the Royal Crescent. We also had a delicious dinner at The Architect restaurant. We recommend grabbing a pint at The Boater as well with a nice bear garden area to look out over the Pulteney Bridge. If you...

"Sue and Graham are such wonderful and welcoming hosts. The property has so much character, well maintained and very clean. Other than the weak wifi connection in the room, everything else was excellent. The breakfast in the morning was a really highlight - great options for vegetarians and pescatarian alike. "Overall the property was in a great location.Flat was everything that you needed. Pity however that it was missing just a few little touches. A small bottle of milk would not have gone amiss. No salt and pepper. The TV remote control needs to be replaced. Control buttons not working . Could not get any BBC channels on free view . All small problems . The entry instructions were great and very clear. "
