My family of three stayed at the Be Manos for two nights. The staff was very helpful accommodating the needs of our two-year old-- even driving me to a supermarket at night to find diapers.
We spent three nights at the Floris in a family room for 3 - it was very clean, comfortable and well-located for the main railway station (Midi) and a 20 minute walk from the centre of the city (or two Metro stops but we never needed to use the Metro as Brussels is quite compact). The staff were very helpful and the breakfast (included in price which not all hotels do) was very good - you can help yourself to as much as you like.
Good hotel 10 minutes walk from Eurostar station and 15 minutes walk from the Grande Place. Very clean, comfortable room and very helpful staff. Good breakfast which is provided in the cafe next door. All in all a good deal for a city in Europe. Thanks!
Ideally located for visiting Brussels centre. We were upgraded upon arrival to an executive room. Standard rooms looked a bit bit on the basic side but clean. We ate in the restaurant on both nights we stayed. The staff were excellent and very helpful and friendly. Restaurant offers a good choice and food was nicely presented and of good quality. Can't wait to go back.
We booked here for a few days so weren't totally fussed about the hotel we were in. However van belle is a fantastic place. Staff were super helpful, the room was spotless and the bathroom was clean....a big thing for me! It's got a great location and the windows actually open! For us it was just a base to work from but for £90 for 2 nights for 2 people I couldn't recommend the place more.
I booked last minute and was very please with value for money - and the included breakfast. Them being new to Expedia, they manually had to book for my booking and reprocess my payment manually, but that only added 5 minutes to check-in. Also I got free on-street parking out front til 9.30am :)

Although difficult to get to if you don't know the area and aren't willing to pay for a taxi, we found the Hotel Phenix to be great value for money and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful and provided us with information on how best to get to attractions using public transport.
The Hotel Phenix is in a noisy area and traffic could be heard from our room which backed onto the main road, but most rooms were facing the other direction so this would not be as much of a problem for most. Rooms were small but very clean and comfortable.
Not many restaurants/attractions nearby but a 15 minute walk from Gare l'ouest with several bus routes stopping within a 5 minute walk. Public transport was easier to navigate than in UK so was not a problem.
