"Reception staff helpful and kind. Restaurant provided excellent breakfast and evening meals. The gym was small but well laid out with everything I needed. The room was good but lacked a normal table or desk and instead had a weird lounge sofa (totally unnecessary). There was nowhere to eat or use a laptop in the room. I also wish I could've opened a window in my room. The AC was impossible to work out and I much prefer fresh air. The shower was excellent."

"Great location and the public spaces are great. Rooms are beginning to get a little tired, particularly in the bathroom where fixtures and fittings were broken. Staff friendly, although some bar staff don't seem to know what they are doing which is a shame. It's one of my favourite hotel spaces in Liverpool, but at its price point it could be better. Note that the automated email sent through Expedia contains the post code to the hotel not the car park as stipulated. "

"This small hotel is a real find and only a 5 minute walk further out of the centre than were used to. It made it for it with excellent attention to detail and good quality room amenities. The hotel is staffed remotely and we had a problem with locking our door. We sent a WhatsApp and got an immediate response from Geoff who sent someone to fix it straight away. Problems can be a pain, but it's how they're dealt with that makes all the difference, so a big thank you to you Geoff for stepping...

"The main reason we chose to stay at the Dolby Hotel was it was neat where we wanted to be and it has a free on site car park. It was OK but the bed was small and it had the smallest bathroom we have ever seen, and we cruise a lot and ships have small bathrooms."
