"Fantastic place to stay, unwind and be at one with nature! Not quite in the middle of nowhere but close enough. There are shops locally but we took what we needed for our stay so we could get away from everything. We ditched the car and walked everywhere. We stay all over UK in these type of properties and this one is far superior, in our opinion, than many others we have stayed. The Hosts are friendly and accommodating, nothing too much trouble and not intrusive (live in detached house next door but not so close). There are some great walks and lots of activities nearby and a visit to ye older ferrie inn is a must. "Our second stay here and excellent once again especially as the owners kindly accepted a change of plans due to one of our dogs requiring medical care. The house is clean, warm, tidy and well thought out. Parking is plentiful and easy. Access to the forest is literally across the road directly onto a path that has not changed in the 50 years I’ve been walking it. Beautiful location completely spoilt by the classic/abandoned cars in the front garden making it unsafe for children and dogs. Field next door is similarly blighted. "The listing was for a ‘gorgeous 2 bed cottage’ and it was certainly that! Such lovely original features but decorated so cleanly and modern. Lovely touches such as milk in the fridge and Welsh cakes left out for us! All the amenities we needed for a short weekend away to visit Zipworld. "Lovely stay at the bungalow. Three friends on a singing weekend nearby. It was very well equipped, clean and peaceful. A drainer rack for the sink would be useful and the mattresses were a little ‘tired’. Nevertheless it was great for us and we would stay there again."

"This property is wonderful. The property is brand new/recently renovated and this is apparent as soon as you step inside the front door. All fixtures and fittings are of good quality and the charm of the original building such as exposed beams have all been kept. It is in a quiet location with stunning walks and trails on your doorstep but the village is only a 10 minute walk. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily come back ourselves."
