"This was my second time to Penrhos and this is rapidly becoming one of my favourite places to stay. The level of finish in the accommodation is exceptional and the attention to detail such as board games, items in the kitchen and basic supplies such as milk and butter are lovely touches. "Great secure location for dogs, Peaceful in the evenings. Took two Huskies who like to be the leaders of other dogs and they got on well with their dogs too. Ragland Castle is worth a visit. Chepstow castle was a bit disappointing, rude reception women and half of it was closed for repairs with no mention by the reception women."

"This property has so much potential and I really hope the owners are able to make it everything it could be. Unfortunately at the moment there's a lot of room for improvement and the price didn't reflect that. The cleanliness level was not brilliant and the space was extremely cold. You are provided with a small gas heater, however it simply isn't capable of heating the space on a cold night. The bedding is summer weight, and there is no insulation, so the cold really bites. "This property is wonderful. The property is brand new/recently renovated and this is apparent as soon as you step inside the front door. All fixtures and fittings are of good quality and the charm of the original building such as exposed beams have all been kept. It is in a quiet location with stunning walks and trails on your doorstep but the village is only a 10 minute walk. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily come back ourselves."
