"Lovely grand entrance to the hotel - unfortunately not as grand in the room - very dated room / furniture. Bathroom cracked floor tiles / old bath with shower curtain.. Can’t understand why this has a 5* rating. I travel a lot - the room would pass for 3*. I didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on the food. "

"We had such a beautiful meal last night in Sally Gap Brasserie. Steak was cooked to perfection. Sides were divine we went for the creamy spinach. Staff were all amazing and ver friendly especially the doorman John, lovely man and very helpful "

"The quintessential example of a rural yet classy B&B of Ireland. The estate all around is wonderful and Angela is a very friendly host. You will be in the middle of a huge property, but will get precise directions to reach the place. The close by town offers several good restaurants and the very interesting St. Patrick College. "This place was awesome until the showers stopped working. The owner/manager of the property seemed like it wasn't a big deal. Cleaning service showed up at 9:45am and ran us out. Boooooo."

"Our stay at Sweet Inn - Ballsbridge Dublin was horrible: My daughter referred to it as the house of nightmares come true. All three kids refused to sleep alone in any of the bedrooms because they were so creeped out. The property was described as a 5 star accomodation. However, it has felt like a 3 star poorly maintained airbnb house that has been let for a long time and not been refreshed in a long time. - the doonas and pillows are old and oily and sweaty smelling. They need to be replaced...
