"Rooms are neat and tidy, staff are polite and helpful. Definitely recommed the hotel. Though the dinner options are very less within the hotel for Vegetarians, and almost no dinings options outside the hotel as well. So come prepared accordingly"

"The Malmaison is in an old prison, close to the train station and close to areas of interest in Oxford. The staff was excellent and very helpful. Our room was comfortable, but the lack of a refrigerator was disappointing. (The staff was happy to deliver a bucket of ice upon request.) We enjoyed breakfast at their restaurant. There were also excellent lunch and dinner options within an easy walk. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it to others."

"Great check-in. Clear instructions. Friendly staff. Room was spacious and clean. The only issue was that the sink was blocked. Upon reporting, it was sorted out very quickly. I would love to have had the bar stay open lknger than the 11 PM"

"While the manor house is picturesque and beautiful with the charm you would expect, the pictures are deceiving. This property is situated immediately adjacent to a main thoroughfare. Additionally the rooms are not in the manor house. The rooms are set apart in different building which are much more similar to a traditional hotel and are of quality equal to a Hampton Inn. "

"We loved the location - mega convenient for seeing everything in Oxford city centre, and so many brilliant food options. We started off on the top floor, but on a hot day in May it reached 25.5C and didn't cool back down which made it really hard to sleep. The 24/7 concierge service is great though, and moved us to the ground floor the next day which suited us much better. "The hotel was an old quaint building that was beautifully furbished incuding a wonderful garden area where we could enjoy a bite to eat or a drink or just lounge and read a book. The restaurant included several rooms all nicely furnished. The rooms were fantastic, really nice with very nice facilities."

"The privilege twin room I booked was excellent in terms of amenities (ironing board and iron, kettle and tea stuff, fridge (complimentary water and Pepsis), Nespresso machine and capsules, bathrobes and slippers, and decor. The only critical comment I would say is that the room was very warm at night and the fridge was placed inside a cupboard and not ventilated so it was also overheated and contributed to the temperature in the room. I’m sure this can be easily remedied. Overall a great stay...

"Nothing was too much trouble. We were staying as a family 16 of us for our mothers funeral and they were kind and welcoming . Breakfast was great - fabulous to have a gluten free section all of its own. Fridge in room was a great feature. Pity it did not contain fresh milk for tea and coffee. Better for the environment than the little plastic containers - which you need two of for each cup of tea/coffee. The restaurant Food was good - although a little over priced. "

"Service in the Brasserie was slow due to a large party. I waited 20 minutes for my soup but after that there were no problems. My room was lovely and reception staff gave me the room with disabled access which was very helpful."
