"Decent hotel, albeit budget version. Decor was very nice and they provided both shampoo and conditioner which is increasingly rare. Rooms are only cleaned every other day, we got a loud knock on the door on cleaning day at 8:20am! We were not expecting it that early so missed out on the cleaning! "Location was great. We could easily get the cog wheel train up the mountain and hike. Only swiss plug points available though and while the hotel says they have adapters available, none were available during the couple of days we were there so we struggled to charge our phones"

"We had a great four night stay at the Lubo! The room was clean and very well maintained and we had a gorgeous view of the town and the mountains in the distance. The free laundry facilities and coffee and tea were excellent! There are many shops and restaurants near by and walking around was perfect! We would absolutely recommend the Lubo to anyone and would stay again! "

"The hotel is in a great central location to the train station and to getting around the city. We had booked a family room to have the extra space and it was great. The bed was firm and the sleeper was comfortable. Bed linens are excellent - it does fall short on the towels in that they are very thin and a bit harsh. It’s late May and we lucked out the weather was perfect - the room did not have AC but provided fans and our room had lots of windows for letting the fresh air in. We had breakfast the last day and it was traditional fare of sliced meats, cheeses with breads and croissants - perfect lite meal to start a day of exploring. "
