"this is a very nice quiet hotel, but there are a few things useful to know.....avoid room one which has no aircon working and is a bit dark. most rooms don't have a sea view and the road is a bit dirty. book well in advance as they get busy. the restaurant is great and the staff are very attentive at all times. "I had a lot of trouble finding Aparthotel Ponta Preta because it changed its name about 2 years ago to Aparthotel Nautilus! This needs to be changed on Hotels.com after confirming with the owners. "Staff is impersonal, particularly at reception where they need to be super helpful. My husband come down with flu and asked at reception if they had any medicine and the answer was “ no “ and end of, not an alternative offered or even indicating the nearest pharmacy. Rooms were okay, clean but worn out and the daily room keeping rushed as I would find dirt on the floor from the day before. "The melia resort is amazing, but the apartment is privately owned which lived up to this resorts standard. The apartment was spacious and had every amenity that was needed, along with a lovely welcome pack of essentials. It is situated in a great location, with the sun starting early on the left hand side of the balcony moving over to the right hand side, so sun for the full day.
