I booked this based on it's location, with the impression that it was likely to be a bit run down. However, I was really impressed and pleasantly surprised.
The hotel seems vey modern, our room was much better than expected and the service and staff were excellent.
The location is stunning and I would definitely stay here again.

The room we stayed in was in the annexe to the hotel which has been converted from an old Normandy house.. Each room has a name - ours was Coté Jardin. It is a very large room with a large double bed and a sofa - which would also make into a bed. The bathroom was spectacular and spotlessly clean. Outside there is a garden and patio with seating and lighting and to the front of the property, free parking with video surveillance. Fast and free wi-fi just topped off an excellent stay.

The room we had at this hotel was small but quite comfortable and very clean. Bathroom was small but had nice shower and adequate counter space. Breakfast was good and also very clean. Would stay here again. Also, several restaurants nearby. Great seafood!

Just spent one night here after ferry journey. Hotel is fine. Rooms little tired. Clean but need some work for the prices charged. We were moved from our first room because we couldn't see how to work blinds (well couldn't see any blinds but apparently they were there). No need to move us really - someone could have just shown us the trick. Second room was larger but one bedside lamp for three beds. Basically nothing matches. Some might find this charming but it does rather look like someone has just been out to the local shop/market. Lovely garden out the back of hotel which has its own parking - a definite advantage. Near the beach but don't expect too much time on the balcony as main road is busy. Breakfast was nothing spectacular but ok. Staff were friendly. Overpriced for what it is. A pet hate is shower gel in dispenser. Think for these prices we should have something classier or at least know what it is. Amazing firework display on beach the night we were there which was an added bonus.

The proprietors of this hotel make staying here a delight. The rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast is very good. There is a bar where you can sit and chat with Eric and Carole over a glass of wine after a day of roaming around Normandy.

Spent two nights here which was not enough! This is a fascinating and beautiful area to explore and Pierre & Vacances provides an ideal base. It is within easy walking distance of Juno beach and the Canadian museum and not far to Arromanches and the other D-Day beaches.
We booked it to avoid a night in Paris and travelled easily into Caen to park and catch the train into the city. The journey was very comfortable, half the price of fares in the UK for twice the distance.
The accommodation is 'bijou' but very practical and everything we needed, except a toaster, which we could have hired from reception if we wanted to but we managed without. Just a short stride to the restaurants for an excellent choice of evening meals, coffee etc.
Others have commented on the short opening hours of reception but it is not difficult to organise arrival time to fit in and we didn't find it a problem.
The pool is lovely but the changing room is quite tight and not as private as British visitors might like especially at closing time. I threw a towel round me and hurried back to the apartment for a shower!
Lovely and quiet, perfect for a few relaxing days or longer if you are lucky.

We have travelled a good deal with varying degrees of satisfaction, noting with chagrin that properties occasionally embellish their features in the property/amenities descriptions. This property was exactly as described (very nice) and met all of our key priorities: cleanliness, security, quality. The rooms are nicely appointed and are meticulously cleaned, the linens were comfortable, and the area was tranquil. The parking lot was quiet and well lit and the property well-secured. The staff were exceptional and very kind. We didn't try the restaurant as we were touring daily so cannot provide comments with respect to food. We recommend with enthusiasm.

"Nice clean comfortable hotel, staff very friendly"
Large, spacious, spotlessly clean room. Beds made up, towels changed daily. Cheap, satisfying continental breakfast buffet (croissants, pastries, bread, cereals, cheese, cold cuts, preserves, juice, tea/coffee/choc/milk) optional per person per day. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and very patient to someone with minimal French language ability!! Great location in the centre of all major D day beach sites and near to town of Bayeaux for Abbey and Tapestry. Be warned however, many websites still show pictures of the outdoor swimming pool at the hotel. This has been filled in for some years now and used as an outdoor dining area !! Beach is very close indeed though and is huge, sandy and water is lovely.
