An incredibly beautiful seaside location and fantastic facilities. We enjoyed the swimming pool, spa, steam bath and activities and the local town. Fantastic French food and shopping. We will come back for a visit again!!
We enjoyed one of the small apartments for three nights. It was attractively furnished and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The location was good for accessing the D-day beaches and memorials and Bayeux.

"Nice clean comfortable hotel, staff very friendly"
Large, spacious, spotlessly clean room. Beds made up, towels changed daily. Cheap, satisfying continental breakfast buffet (croissants, pastries, bread, cereals, cheese, cold cuts, preserves, juice, tea/coffee/choc/milk) optional per person per day. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming and very patient to someone with minimal French language ability!! Great location in the centre of all major D day beach sites and near to town of Bayeaux for Abbey and Tapestry. Be warned however, many websites still show pictures of the outdoor swimming pool at the hotel. This has been filled in for some years now and used as an outdoor dining area !! Beach is very close indeed though and is huge, sandy and water is lovely.

Spent two nights here which was not enough! This is a fascinating and beautiful area to explore and Pierre & Vacances provides an ideal base. It is within easy walking distance of Juno beach and the Canadian museum and not far to Arromanches and the other D-Day beaches.
We booked it to avoid a night in Paris and travelled easily into Caen to park and catch the train into the city. The journey was very comfortable, half the price of fares in the UK for twice the distance.
The accommodation is 'bijou' but very practical and everything we needed, except a toaster, which we could have hired from reception if we wanted to but we managed without. Just a short stride to the restaurants for an excellent choice of evening meals, coffee etc.
Others have commented on the short opening hours of reception but it is not difficult to organise arrival time to fit in and we didn't find it a problem.
The pool is lovely but the changing room is quite tight and not as private as British visitors might like especially at closing time. I threw a towel round me and hurried back to the apartment for a shower!
Lovely and quiet, perfect for a few relaxing days or longer if you are lucky.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It used to be a residence and became a hotel 26 years ago. The staff was attentive and efficient. The room was spacious and had everything you could want. Comfy bed and a nice sized bathroom. We slept with the windows wide open and had the fresh air steaming in. It was so quiet! The breakfast was superb. They had everything you could want and it was delicious. I would definitely return to this hotel.
I would recommend this hotel. It is well located to visit all the Normandy Beaches. Well kept, modern and very user friendly. Rooms are reasonable size and well appointed for the price. I will stay here again and agin.

Lovely view over the marina from our balcony. we travelled with two children aged 9 and 12 who loved the indoor pool. (Outdoor closed until May). our two story apartment for six was comfortable and spacious for a family of four, but could have slept a couple more on the sofa bed in living room. we ate at one of the two bistros on the marina, a few metres from the front door, very reasonable and delicious food. 5 mins over the estuary bridge to beautiful long beach and promenade which leads to smart Cabourg. Very quiet out of season but still enough buzz from local restaurants. All in all, perfect base for the many local attractions of Normandy. Our children enjoyed the Bayeaux Tapestry. modern, very practical, perfectly clean and great value for money. great for families; all restaurants very family friendly. Great mini golf on the beach!

Vacation apartments also available co short stays. Fully equipped kitchen. Pool didnt use it. Good restaurants and fishing harbor, walking distance. Secured parking. Overall a good value in a good location for a Dday tour. Near Pointe du Hoc.
Just outside the town - next to the Race course and Golf course, 1 mile drive to the beach. Good as a base to explore the town as long as you could drive in or didn't mind a 20-30 min walk.
Clean and comfortable - we had a four bed room. Very large bed but actually two beds put together so you can end up sleepin in the gap. Two beds in upstairs balcony - good for our kids (12 and 8) but the stairs were very steep and you had to be v. careful coming down, so wouldn't be good for small children.
Swimming pool clean was clean and just big enough to keep the children happy
Restaurant in the hotel was good, excellent 17 euro menu.
