"I like the large TV in the room, the very spacious room and bathroom, the bathrooms feel new. Nice to have a fridge. A very comfortable stay. Do not eat here though. The Blairs restaurant is massively over priced tiny portions of overly complicated food with too many flavours that don't mix well. The bar food menu hasn't changed since at least January. If paying £9.00 for an avocado sandwich, I would expect some actual avocado, not a tiny smear on the bread and half a raw red onion. ...

"I can't say enough about these incredible people. From the moment we arrived we felt completely taken care of. We met Rachel first, checking us in and making sure we had everything we needed. "We liked this place, a busy, friendly customer focused venue. A bright and cheerful welcome, professional but amicable approach from all staff. An old building but maintained well and homely. The staff were great especially the blonde haired lady, who was originally from Wales. The owners need to hang on to her as she is a great asset. Rooms are good, beds comfortable, food tasty and plentiful, both evening and breakfast. They even found me some marmite. Well done The Station"
