Hit the Beach in Las Vegas: No, Really!
“Sin City might not be known for its sandy shores, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find a beach atmosphere. The beach clubs along the Strip are the perfect place to cool off, catch some sun and party. Grab your swimsuit and spend the day (and night) dancing to some of the biggest names in electronic and dance music. Here’s where you can hit the beach in Las Vegas.
Beach Club at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino
——————————————
Take a break from the Nevada sun at this club, right off the Strip. Daily 11am-5pm, you can lounge by the pool, or better yet, jump in, while world-class DJs set a lively tone for the day. DAYLIGHT is one of the most prominent beach clubs in Vegas with a huge pool and Grammy-nominated artists taking to the open-air stage. End your week with LIT Sundays, when the club dedicates the day to hip-hop.
Wet Republic Ultra Pool at MGM Grand
————————————
Wet Republic is one of the longest running beach clubs in Vegas. It’s open March through to October and has welcomed chart-topping DJs, such as Martin Garrix, to its sundeck stage. Dive into the pool and watch the light show on the huge screens above the decks or take a seat in the covered lounge to catch some shade. The bar offers bottle and pitcher services as well as shaking up signature cocktails.
Bare Pool Lounge at The Mirage
——————————
Palm trees surround this beach club at The Mirage hotel, for a more secluded experience. Head here if you want to feel like a VIP for the day. It’s a smaller venue than most on the Strip, delivering a more intimate atmosphere. Lounge on a daybed by one of the two dipping pools and order gourmet dishes and cocktails from the menu. If you want to indulge, hire one of the private cabanas that lead out to an expansive infinity pool.
Encore Beach Club
—————–
Proving that Sin City never sleeps, Encore is open day and night. The huge venue has couches, cabanas and even a gaming pavilion. Get drenched in a champagne shower before lounging on a floating lily pad in one of the three pools. The club hosts resident DJs each summer, think David Guetta and The Chainsmokers, drawing a huge party crowd. Stay late on Thursdays for the Nightswim, which takes the party atmosphere from sunset to close to sunrise.
Drai’s Beachclub
—————-
Party with a panoramic view of the Strip at Drai’s Beachclub. On the 11th [LC1] floor of The Cromwell hotel, this multi-level club has views across Las Vegas’s neon skyline. Poolside daybeds are shaded by palms, and LED screens display lightshows to match the daily DJs. Head here for a pool party 11am-6pm Friday-Sunday in season.
TAO Beach
———
Imagine yourself in the tropics at TAO Beach. Above the famous TAO’s Asian Bistro at The Venetian, it’s a popular party spot where you can unwind with a massage or a TAO-tini by the pool by day and stay for the open-air club experience at night. The stage welcomes resident and international DJs, so no two nights are the same. Luxury cabanas step up the experience with gaming stations and HD TVs.
The Marquee
———–
Party on the roof of The Cosmopolitan at The Marquee. A nightclub and dayclub, this one delivers a party atmosphere 24/7, hosting some of the biggest names in dance music. Grab a shaded daybed by the pool or book into a private cabana for your own spa and infinity pool. After dark, the party continues, but if you need a break, head to The Library, a secluded VIP space where you can watch the Strip from a glass-walled booth.
Delano Beach Club
—————–
For a more relaxed atmosphere, head to Delano Beach Club. With hammocks and loungers, you can escape the hustle of Las Vegas’s Strip and spend an afternoon sipping signature cocktails and working through gourmet bites. Swim in the heated pool or challenge a friend to a game on the submerged chessboard before taking in the last of the sun on a chaise longue.
