Aura is a wonderful hotel full of charm and is only steps away from Broadway. The staff is extremely helpful and will even pre order and help you with an uber.

Bare concrete floors in bathroom, freaking cold and it’s summer outside. How cold does that floor get at winter… Shower door needs a seal at the bottom so water doesn’t flow out in front of sink. Huge puddles flow out.

Super helpful staff, large clean room, a bit of nighttime noise but not more than any other hotel in NYC

Location was good, hotel was clean, most staff was nice and helpful, bed was comfortable, luggage hold was helpful when needed. Room was smaller than depicted in the photos. Read the fine print, in terms of extra fees. Breakfast is not included, just offered for an additional fee.

The hotel is in a good location for Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, Macy’s and the Empire State Building. It’s also only a 10 - 15 minute walk to Time’s Square. The area felt safe to walk around at day and night. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is in need of refurbishment however so the room was very dated by modern standards.

Room design was organized and beautiful. Clean lady (Jacky) is very nice. Front desk morning shift, never smile and concierge never smile too. They must not happy with their job. But the bellboy and door men are very nice.
