Great location and very friendly staff

Wonderful hotel! Was sad to leave. Everything was made so easy. Beautiful decor and fabulous room/bathroom. All details thought of. Great staff. Faultless. Can’t wait to return.

Staff were efficient and friendly. Bar was lively with great staff, lovely food and reasonable priced drinks. Room was nice, well equipped and comfortable

The location and surrounding area is beautiful ,meals ere good and public rooms were very comfortable and well presented. The main issue and disappointment was that the area was a live building site as construction works were still being carried out on the Spa area, Construction traffic ,materials and staff were everywhere and this caused difficulties with parking and Hotel access when driving. The room we had was nice but the TV did not work properly and with no internet connection viewing choices were limited., There was no remote to operate the air cooling fan (room was very hot). The fan in the bathroom did not work and only one window would open for adequate fresh air. Construction noise started at 6:30 and continued until late afternoon/early evening.I was made aware of the construction work shortly after making my booking but was not anticipating so much work still to be carried out as the latest information supplied stated that the new facility was opening on the second day of our stay, this in fact did not happen and work was still being carried out on our departure date.

Best hotel in Newcastle for my money. Clean, comfortable and very well run by the staff.
