Clean rooms, average breakfast, friendly staff. 100 meters from Golden temple main entrance. Only snag, do no go there by car. Impossible to park cark. Nearest car parking is a joke.

The room was in no position to be let out. The tv was not working. The locker was not working. It’s a booking for 3 people and they just had 2 towels in the room. After multiple requests they bring just one towel. The lack of attention to details is appalling. This is not what is expected of the Taj. clearly people are not doing their job including the manager whose job it is to ensure everything is in order.

Here’s a natural but firm review you can paste: Overall, the experience was just okay and did not feel like what I would expect from a 4-star hotel. The property has quite an old and dated vibe, and the room also had a strange smell when we entered. After stepping into the room, I experienced itching and redness on my body, which was quite uncomfortable and concerning. The overall cleanliness and maintenance could definitely be improved. Considering the hotel’s 4-star category, I expected much better standards in terms of hygiene, room condition, and overall experience.
