(2,822 reviews) The hotel was easy to find and is up near the Palace & Gardens, so very close to The National Theatre Station, which made getting around very quick and easy. There is also a tram stop on one side of the hotel and a bus stop on the other. The room was lovely, large and clean. We used the sauna most evenings but the pool was a too cold to stay in for long. It was a shame that the saunas were separate not mixed and the ladies changing room is quite small (the gents is much bigger so if you have a family with children send them in with their dad to get changed). Breakfast was good, with a varied selection of cooked, fresh and traditional foods, including a whole gluten free section. All staff were very helpful and friendly throughout the hotel. Please note: Reception told us that we could get the Oslo Pass from the shop attached to the hotel, any 7 Eleven Shop or The Tourist Information Center from Central Station. This is not correct, it is now an app which you can easily install and activate anywhere on your smart phone. You can however, get a phyicial ticket, if you dont have a smart phone, but only from the central station tourist information centre.
