The Grand Hotel is in an excellent location for walking to the Historical Town, including shops , restaurants, a mountain view and close proximity to the cable car and walking trails to Doss Trento. Staff were very helpful with directions and answering questions. Hotel is clean with very nice bathroom amenities. Hotel also has a lively bar and restaurant .

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a stunning location a short walk away from the centre of Merano town (or a short bus ride) up a hill looking over the mountains. The view is beautiful, and you can sit in the gardens on sunny days and admire the beautiful hotel, mountains, and gardens. The team at the hotel were all exceptionally friendly, warm and helpful. The spa was fantastic, and lovely facilities like two pools and a sauna/steam room. The team went above to make us feel very welcome. Thank you!

We had an amazing experience! The amenities were beautiful and phenomenal, including a pool where we could really relax, a sauna, and an outdoor bar. The restaurant was fantastic! We received excellent service and the food was top-notch. The manager, Chisto, and our servers were impeccable! We’re definitely planning to return and stay again!
