First of thank you for asking On my first night l checkrd in, l realised the AIRCONDITIONER wasnt working l slept in a.hot Room. 2nd day the light went.off before the Gala night started we ate in darkness it was so bad party couldnt hold No light.it was a terrible 2 nights which l demand my Refund of all my payments thanks

Wonderful stay! Beautiful hotel!

The charm is wonderful, and I loved the room. Definitely had an old "DC" feel. I only gave it 3 stars because the amenities were lacking. My television frequently went in and out of connection, only two water bottles in the rooms (you had to ask the front desk and I felt lije it was an inconvenience each time I asked which was twice in 5 days) no vending machine to get cold drinks, limited signage to where anything is, my refrigerator didn't shut properly and a couple of things went bad the first night, the AC rattled the entire time, etc. Nothing major but it added up. It would be different if there were convenient stores or other needed essentials right next door, but I just felt like this was too expensive of a stay, 4th of July weekend or not, to not offer more convenience and creature comforts inside the hotel...especially considering the sweltering heat visitors to DC just endured. I did love the history of the building and the ambience but beyond that, I wouldn't stay again without more effort around the little things that you really expect at a place like this.

I had a nice stay at The Bethesdan Hotel. The staff were outstanding: friendly, positive and incredibly helpful with everything. They really made our trip special. The room was very clean, especially the bed and bathroom, which felt fresh and comfortable. One small suggestion - cleaning the windows from the outside would make the room even better. There were a few minor maintenance points that could be improved: the shower fixture wasn’t fully secured and wobbled slightly, the bathroom had some scratches, and the balcony doors were blocked. The rooftop pool was ok, but the relaxation area and the floor itself look dated and would really benefit from a refresh with more shade and greenery. Anyway, had a wonderful time thanks to the service and great location. A few updates in these areas would make the hotel better.

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. I thought it would be very basic like a Moxy, the room was clean, and they had a nice little work area instead of a huge lobby, BUT they managed the temperature, which was annoying, when it was 100+. The friendly front desk staff made up for it. What I liked the most is the asst manager in the bar during the fireworks held his ground and maintained the party vibe, which tells me the overall hotel was well managed.

Excellent experience. Will definitely be back.

Nice spot- stayed here during a business trip. pros: comfy beds good pillows, lots of different lighting options, decent water pressure and a Mini fridge in the room and the temperature was comfortable. Cons: I was confused about the breakfast (it comes with some stay and not others but it was never offered as an option at check in and no explanation). Not sure what the extra $70 “resort” fee is for as I don’t believe there are any “resort” style amenities.I had to hunt down the ice machine (it’s on the 2nd floor btw). Could use a little spot to purchase snacks/soda/water, etc… since there’s no room service. Wanted to order from the restaurant downstairs but there were no menus or contacts in the room so I ordered door dash. Overall, I had a good stay, there’s just a few details and some clarification from the staff at check in, that I believe would have made it better.

Excellent service and kind staff. The person who assisted me at check-in was very polite and professional. Everyone who worked there was very attentive and caring. I was very impressed by the cleanliness, charm, decor, and comfort of my suite. It was conveniently located next to the Capitol Building and the National Mall. I will definitely return when I visit Washington, D.C. again.
