Friendly staff. Room clean and adequate and quiet. Shower a little lacking in water pressure but lovely soft fluffy bath sheet towels. Plentiful tea and coffee in room. Didn't try the breakfast but good bar area. Loved the very central position, close to train and bus station links.

The spa and pool area are closed. It wasn’t in the listing and I showed up expecting to use those facilities. I was about 30 minutes early for check in and they made me wait to get a room. The place looks abandoned. The front doors have broken glass that was repaired with tape. The windows in the room rattle from the wind. The shower curtains are disposable party table cloths, not shower curtains. The shower doesn’t get hot. The towel warmer doesn’t work. Because there is no carpet, the entire hall echos with noise as people use the elevators down the hall. There is nothing around the location. I have no idea how long the same room key and holder have been used but I can’t believe they don’t give a fresh one with each customer. I do NOT recommend.

Beautiful grounds and the building is stunning. Staff were friendly and the food was good. Our rooms were big with two en suite bathrooms, one with tub and one with shower. We didn’t use the swimming pool or golf course but they looked good. Down side: no lift/elevator to dining room or to our bedrooms and it would benefit from upgrades- no electric outlets near the bed head. We were disappointed, given the lack of elevators, that check-in staff didn’t offer to help with luggage.

Lovely spacious room with comfortable bed. Within walking distance of city centre. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Very impressive

What a great place to stay! Luxury vibe at an affordable price. The room was clean, stylish, comfortable, quiet, and had everything necessary for an extended stay- full kitchen, table and chairs, quality bedding and towels. The location was perfect for our needs and we felt comfortable walking back after dark in the neighborhood.

This was the best stay of our trip. I wish it were longer! Thank you
