"What a find! This little hoos on a loch with a hot tub was cosy and perfect as a base for our Glencoe hikes. We had evening and morning hot tubs and loved watching the weather come over. The restaurant next door was excellent and the hosts helpful and friendly. Was hard to leave!"

"Rooms spotless everything you need decor a bit tired as we all know it rains a lot in Scotland so would be good to have some kind of protection from rain over hot tub"

"Beautiful setting well equipped cottage very helpful staff. The only gripe was the cottage smelt of wet dog!!"

"Great house with a stunning view"

"We really enjoyed our stay. Workers were wonderful, food was fantastic at the restaurant, hot tub was great and private, house was spacious and great layout. The only complaint was the beds were hard."

"Very beautiful lodge and hotel! Great restaurants and friendly staff"

"Wonderful location! Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you, again."

"Ideally situated cottage in beautiful area, with a short walk to the beach and stroll up the hill for beautiful views. We were warmly greeted and the cottage was well equiped. Absolutely love the stay here "

"Loved staying here! I don't think there could possibly be a more beautiful view from the hot tub and living room. The space is compact, but well laid out, comfortably furnished, and had all we needed. Great trails nearby too. Thanks and would gladly stay here again!"

"My family had a lovely time at Frances's Scotland abode! She was so quick to reply to any queries and having a short walk to the beach was pretty special. "

"Extremely comfortable property; very well-appointed; and extremely friendly and helpful staff."

"Melfort never disappoints; excellent staff and accommodation -only downside on this occasion, Shower of Herring closed until new people reopen it on 10 October. However, nearby Cufail Hotel supplied excellent meals."

"Stayed in one of the lodges. The accommodation itself was a bit tired & could do with a refresh, but the setting, the views & hot tub more than made up for the shortcomings of the accommodation. The main hotel’s restaurant serves excellent food & staff very friendly. "

"Beautiful lodge on the water. Spectacular views! Clean and well appointed - it was perfect for our family hike up Ben Nevis! The hot tub helped our sore legs."

"The setting is idyllic in lovely peaceful surroundings, nature all around. The cottage is large, airy and bright and everything you could need was provided. Although quite a distance from Oban, the main road was pretty quiet and a pleasant drive. The pool was an added bonus, but the sauna wasn't working. We were there on the hottest weekend of the year, so didn't need the sauna."

"Loved the location - quuck jaunt to many restaurants and shops in Ft. William. Lodge was clean and comfortablr - wed definitely stay here again!"

"This was our first stay in the Glencoe area and we were very happy with the accommodations! We especially love coming back to an awesome hot tub after a long day of hiking as well. Such a great location as well, with plenty of amenities that are within a 10 minute drive. Also, the onsite restaurant was very nice and the food was outstanding!"

"We were happy to stay for the first time at Melfort Village. It had everything that we needed and we were very comfortable. The staff was so great and friendly. We will miss our morning chats with them to tell them about our previous day's exploration and getting advice on where to go next. I would highly recommend Melfort Village for your next vacation!"
