we had an amazing time at barcelo for a week. it was a great location if you want a bit of quiet, and good for sunsets!! i recommend bringing shampoo and conditioner though, as the shampoo isn’t the best and there is not conditioner in the suites. the room size was huge which we were pleasantly surprised by! lots of pool area, beach access and nice walks along the beach in both directions. i would stay there again!

The staff was amazing! Everyone was so helpful. The food was delicious. And really, not enough can said about the service. We really enjoyed the club services, definitely worth the upgrade. Location wise, the resort could not be in a better place. My only complaint would be that the hotel itself needs a bit of an upgrade, the pools need to be refurbished, and the bathroom in the rooms as well. Overall… great.
