Lo mejor de la propiedad es el servicio de todo su personal (mayordomo, recreación, restaurantes). Lo que menos me gustó fue las condiciones de mi habitación (el AC nunca funcionó al 100% y había un olor no muy agradable)

This is your ultimate vacation resort, we traveled as a family of 4 in late August when the weather was on a hotter side but the stay was super comfortable and the amenities were well maintained and helpful. The food menu could have been better for vegetarians but there were decent no-meat options available. The swimming pools were clean, well maintained and the personal butler service was the best part. It was super helpful to communicate with him over Whatsapp messages and he was very responsive and considerate in booking the dinners at the restaurants and other activities like Spa etc. Rafael came in highly recommended from the reviews at Expedia earlier and now we understand why :) For the folks like us that don't speak Spanish, the butler service is an absolute savior since many of the resort staff don't understand English well. I can't wait to be back! Thank you again Rafael for making our stay enjoyable and memorable.

We stayed at a “junior suite” and the room needs upgrades and a little more modern look. Room decor is too dark and the lights don’t work well. They turn on and off whenever they want to. Sometimes we slept with all lights on because they wouldn’t turn off even though we hit every switch in the room, then out of nowhere, they turn off when we were about to leave for the day in mid morning. Mini bar is pretty well stocked. The shower in the room is very small and tight. The toilet doesn’t flush properly, it just keeps flowing water so you will see whatever is in toilet just spinning around. All toilets in the hotel are the same so don’t expect any different in other areas. The pool bar smells really bad in the water when you approach it to order. It’s like swimming in toilet water. The buffet area in the omelet station, there were flies going in the bowls of food used to make the omelets. The cook doesn’t notice because they are working but guests in line notice it. It wasn’t flies just flying around, they were literally digging their way in the bowls. The staff thought were really nice and helpful. Can’t complain about them. But the hotel itself for being a Barceló hotel, they need upgrades in the junior suites area.

My husband and I stayed 5 days and 4 nights. The hotel is nice, staff is nice as well however most of them don’t speak English so communication was a bit difficult. The beach was full of seaweed and smelled like the literal sewer so we could not even swim in the water, we just mostly stayed by the pool area. The restaurants are all by reservation only, if you don’t have a reservation then you cannot go. The food was just ok, nothing too special however the buffet on the family side was great. The drinks were also just ok, everything tasted a little strange. Husband and I both also got stomach bugs from eating the food and drinking drinks but that is just about expected in DR. The workers start cleaning and mowing the grass everyday at 7AM so be ready to be woken up. Also, they will try to make you go to a timeshare presentation, don’t fall for it. Stay was just ok, probably won’t be back.

Hotel 100% pensado en niños. Siempre había actividades para ellos. Me encantó mucho eso. Lo que no me gustó mucho fue el almuerzo buffet. Las estaciones se veían un poco desorganizadas y sucias. El piso del comedor estaba sucio. Las comidas frías muchas veces. El desayuno buffet estaba un poco mejor. En las cenas elegía los restaurantes. Fui a Flame, el italiano, la cena/show y el frances. Todos estuvieron genial. La cena/show estuvo espectacular (lo recomiendo 100%). Con relación a los cuartos, se veía un tanto deteriorado. Los baños no me gustaron para nada. Se veían viejos. En general el servicio fue muy bueno.
