We have stayed at The Clift several times and always have a great stay- we upgraded to a Junior suite which was very comfortable for a 5nt stay- great fitness center on 2nd floor and cocktails in the Redwood Room were great. Only thing to know is there are no evening drinks/food options on Sunday nights which was odd on a 3 day weekend- and Fredrick’s is only open till 11am during the week and 12pm on Weekends with long lines- so plan accordingly- but the food is good and there are tons of restaurant options nearby.
