The suite we stayed in at the Squirrel House was phenomenal. Great amenities including a mini kitchen. Scenic large outdoor deck with comfortable lounge chairs overlooking the mountains and Lac Annecy. Great views! Living room, bedroom and bathroom were all top notch. And a buffet breakfast was included at the Chalet itself. Best of all the 6 hotels we stayed in while travelling around France. Excellent except… air conditioning was set so it could not go below 23. Made it too warm for us. Yes, you can open the windows but because the bedroom window was literally at ground level, and there was no screen, we were not comfortable leaving it open during the night. Other than that, this 5 day stay was a highlight of our trip to France.

We stayed at Jiva Hill for just one night, but by the time we checked out, we were already talking about coming back. Everything about our stay was flawless. We were incredibly lucky with beautiful weather, which meant we could really appreciate the wonderful setting, the views and the golf course. It feels peaceful and removed from the city, yet the location is remarkably convenient, around 15 minutes from Geneva Airport and approximately 30 minutes from central Geneva. What impressed us most, though, was that the five-star experience goes far beyond the facilities. The hotel is five star, the service is five star, and the food is five star. Every member of staff we encountered was genuinely friendly, helpful and welcoming, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We also thoroughly enjoyed the food. Dinner was excellent, and breakfast was particularly impressive, with such a wide choice that there really was something for everyone. The combination of the beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities, wonderful food and genuinely warm service made this a very special stay. We were only here for one night, and somehow we are leaving feeling as though it wasn’t nearly long enough. We would very happily return, and hopefully next time for a little longer. Thank you to the whole Jiva Hill team for such a memorable stay.

Outstanding property for a stay in Geneva. Excellent location for a walk along the lake, to shop or have a meal. Exceptional staff, restaurant and room. When I’m back in Geneva - that’s where I’ll stay!
