Ottawa - Southeastern Ontario Kid friendly Holidays

My overall stay was fine, my room was okay. The AC intake needed a good vacuuming and the sink drain was slow to drain in room 1012. The staff was first rate. I did have trouble leaving the underground parking. My room key worked to open the gate, only to have the gate immediately close. I had to go back to the office, explain my issue and was given another key. Same result. I did find another guest key in the Dropbox and it worked. Go figure.

Perfect location to explore Ottawa. Beautiful building. Nice pool for swimming laps. Walked to restaurants and shopping mall.

Suites style hotel , We were in a one betroom floor 1 above main, parking is $40 extra and for medium to small cars in underground. Could not accommodate earlier than 4 pm check in unfortunately, but rules. Two separate towers, and two of the three sets of elevators had mechanical issues ongoing, one ment walking down to car parking. Had to have maintenance come and explain a very complicated TV set up, just wanted to watch tv, but even techy son needed a 5 minute course?? Little to no communication in room on its proper procedure nor given wifi at check in? Used pool and hot tub, was as expected. Was quiet, bit of early residential street noise, but we expected as we too were doing Ottawa marathon.patio door , did not lock. Bathroom and kitchen supplied and ok. Front desk staff were polite but seemed way over worked and with the earlier mention no one prior to 4 pm, ment for 40 minute line as some people were just showing up to 15 minutes per client? Very close to parliament, fast food and sites downtown with in easy walk. Would use again , if deal on site.
