Stayed here before our bigger trekking tour. Absolutely perfect and wouldn’t have changed a thing. Staff were amazing. Location was perfect.

It was Convenient from train station, just a short walk away. It was close to shopping, restaurants, and the Luge Alpine coaster, which my kids loved. The indoor pool was great as was having a kitchen to prepare meals. I especially loved the Mr. Coffee maker! It was a great stay! Chamonix is amazing!

On demand shuttle to lifts. Ski shop & rentals on premise. Restaurant excellent. Fun bar. Rooms comfortable & attractive.

The staff were absolutely helpful with any questions we had, they were lovely. The breakfast was very nice and had many options and delicious pastries. The room was spotless and absolutely welcoming as well.

This property is tired and in need of repair. The website photos are not representative of the space. It is dirty and lacks proper ventilation. Leaving the patio doors open at night is not a safe or secure option as not only do they not have screens, they are accessible easily by other guests on the property. Personal safety is an obvious issue. The temperature in the room was over thirty five degrees in the night without the doors open and one simply could not breathe properly. As we did not feel safe nor comfortable we left our stay two nights early. The property did not offer an acceptable solution or alternative space nor did they provide a refund. We paid nearly 2500.00 for our unused nights plus incurred the cost to seek alternative accommodation. Thankfully we did find an alternative clean basic property which offered a safe and secure sleeping environment. We continue to reach out to both visa, Expedia and the property to seek compensation for our unused nights. Our reasonable expectation is that given the misrepresentation and the security risks Les Grande Montets will compensate us for the unused nights.

Stayed here solo before starting the Tour Du Mont Blanc trek and it was perfect! Situated between Chamonix and Les Houches directly next to the number one line bus! Great location, great staff, fun/nostalgic decor, all the amenities you can think of, reasonable food and drinks, and the view is spectacular! They offer luggage storage as well, which was just what I needed. Thank you!!!
