The hotel is in a good location, especially if you like Dubai Marina.
However, it’s very outdated — the rooms no longer feel like they belong in a 5-star hotel.
Staff are friendly and do their job well (which is common in Dubai), but don’t expect a true 5-star experience.
The rooms, bathrooms, and furnishings are extremely old-fashioned and clearly need renovation.
Most of the guests are low-budget family tourists, and the overall guest profile is quite low.
For example, I was charged a 500 AED deposit at check-in, but the minibar in the room was completely empty.
I asked why and requested it to be filled especially since I had paid a deposit but the hotel refused.
Despite mentioning that I was an Expedia VIP guest, they didn’t offer any room upgrade.
In fact, it felt like they gave me one of the worst rooms on purpose. I believe they assign worse rooms specifically to Expedia guests.

This property was above and far beyond anything I could have expected. The staff was amazing and so welcoming and accommodating. The resort has everything you could ever need. There really is no need to leave. The lagoon is open 24/7 which we loved. Room service is available 24/7. There is valet parking and the staff is always available to drive you to and from your room in the little golf cars. The food is amazing and the breakfast buffet is phenomenal with everything you could ever think of as an option. I really can’t say enough about this resort. My husband and I went for our honeymoon and we want to come back with our family. I can’t find one thing to complain about. Our time here was amazing!

I had a good stay at City Premiere Marina Hotel Apartments overall. Although my check-in experience was disappointing due to a rude receptionist (first impressions matter!), the rest of the staff made up for it. Naing was especially helpful—he assisted with my luggage, showed me around, and recommended great spots nearby. Guncham (hope I spelled that right) kept the room spotless and always checked in, even when I declined cleaning. If not for the check-in issue, this would’ve been a 5-star review. Thanks to the staff who made my stay enjoyable!

Staff was first rated always eager to provide top tier services and facilities were great, two things I noticed and I would suggest to change.
1. Main swimming pool should be reserved adults only, there is enough swimming pools suitable for children and non that provide adult only peace and quiet.
2.I understand asking for room number during the meals but asking it for every single thing, daily even lounge on the beach it becomes very annoying.
But overall experience was very good,excellent.
