Had a brilliant time with my husband and absolutely loved seeing the newly renovated Crieff Hydro, it’s absolutely beautiful. We were there child-free celebrating our 10-year anniversary, so it felt extra special. The meals and breakfasts were outstanding and really made the stay even more enjoyable. Our only frustrating moment was when we tried to have a drink in the adult bar. Unfortunately, there appeared to be only one member of staff on. We sat down for around 15 minutes without any acknowledgment or update that we couldn’t be served, and eventually ended up going to the other bar instead. Such a shame, as we were really looking forward to enjoying that part of the experience. Overall though, we had a lovely stay.

Stunning location, attentive staff and beautiful room. Dinner in the Brassiere was exceptional with the most amazing steak. Spa facilities were good and spotless. Great breakfast selection and prices in the bar were very reasonable. First visit but we will be back.

The attention to detail is amazing without feeling over the top. A very warm relaxed welcome and booking in, a cosy suite complete with Xmas tree and very helpful staff. The Cromlix have got if all just right

While I enjoyed the hotel, at times the rooms got warm as there was no air conditioning. I wouldn’t have had any issue with this if the provided fans were powerful enough to support cooling and air circulation. Meanwhile, the restaurant menu was limited and I found myself having the exact same options each day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Thankfully, the restaurant staff were generally helpful and friendly while the food was in fact delicious. I also paid for a later checkout time of 2 pm, but when I came out my room early at 1:45 pm I was unable to get back in. Thankfully, it was after I had offloaded all my bags, so I just opted to proceed with checkout. Don’t get me wrong, the hotel wasn’t bad and it’s not a place I would avoid. But the circumstances encountered means I am unable to rate any higher than an average stay.

Excellent hotel and spa. I used the massage and it was amazing. The staff were super friendly and the amenities were great. Most of all I liked how close the hotel was to the sea.

The staff were very nice and helpful, however the facility was old and in a bit of disrepair, which can be charming if the price were not so high. Pitlochry is a wonderful but expensive little town so this was not unexpected.
