Rooms were clean, staff was very nice and helpful, great area to get around.

lately we have been enamored with Hampton Inn, but not this one! A sign in the lobby said 'Exciting News, we are going to have a renovation. For anyone staying there now, that is not exciting news! A staff member said there was no sign of when that actually might happen. I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of 'tick.........tick........tick.......' and finally found it was coming from water dripping from the ceiling!. The breakfast was not up too the level I have grown accustomed to. When we asked about using the pool, they said wouldn't be ready before 11:30 or so, and checkout is at noon, so basically, unavailable...

The hotel is showing its age. Have stayed here before, numerous times, and this time it is obvious the rooms need to be updated. The carpet in our room had string that could catch on someone's high heels, and the couch was obviously old as it had strings hanging from the bottom. The shower was never warm, tepid at best, cold mostly.
