This was a great hotel, conveniently located in Downtown Providence, walking distance from countless dining and shopping options. The hotel was nice and clean, with beautiful views of city architecture. I recommend using their valet service, which is the same price as parking in nearby lots and garages. There is some sort of soup kitchen or homeless resource center across the street, so that sidewalk is always blocked by homeless individuals at all times. That said, people seem to transit the area normally and safely.

The air conditioning was broken and not working in our room. We informed front desk and complained and also requested for a room change. They said no other room is available and technician couldn't fix the issue. We had to sleep in hot room with 79 temperature. When we requested refund they said they can not because its booked through hotels.com. Ridiculous.

Nice and friendly staff, the rooms are clean and new. However, to have a mini-fridge in the room would be a great plus!!
