The bed i n my room is old, I can feel laying on spring, although they later put a topper on it. I was not able to get good sleep , because I cant sleep when its hot. The AC is not central and barely working, its more like a fan. I told the lady at the front dest, she said she will send someone to look at it but never did. I also did not appreciate the defensiveness when I complained about the bed, phone not working and AC is not working, The lady made a statement "no one has complained before." That was a tad rude. Restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is decent.

The Hotel is very unique and offers an extraordinary experience, unlike any hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff trip over themselves to help you and were incredibly helpful in guiding us around the area. The room comes with a bus pass that helps you get around the valley at no additional cost. We ate at all of their different theme restaurants and had wonderful experiences at all of them. The buffet in the morning is traditional european but still offers much more. Although we were a party of 8 with two younger kids, the staff always accommodated us and quickly made friends with the kids, making them feel at home. The owners were always out milling around checking to make sure everything was fine and making you feel appreciated. The hotel was right next to shopping and other restaurants and just a short hike to world-class hiking trails. Although we live near the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, the scenery near the area and nearby St. Moritz was just incredible. The spa and pool were also a wonderful experience and the kids had a great time swimming! If I had to complain, it was that the elevator was small, although not unexpected in an older building. Despite that, the building was charming and beautifully maintained. We would not hesitate to go back again!

We have stayed at the Chedi several times and it's consistently fantastic! The interior design is beautiful, the food is amazing (already the breakfast alone is worth the trip!), the staff is wonderful and the Spa/Gym/Hydrotherapy/ Saunas/ColdPlunge area is simply the best I have ever experienced!!!!

We stayed at the resort for our 25th anniversary and we were well taken care of by the staff-everyone from the kitchen staff to the cleaning staff and front end staff. They were very kind and insured we enjoyed our stay. The views from the deck facing the vallley and lakes were surreal. They were some of the best pictures of our trip. The buffet breakfast was a nice add-on since there’s not a lot of food dining options in the Beatenberg area. It is a 15 minute drive from Interlaken, but we enjoyed the calmness of the area. The amenities, such as the gym and spa was a nice touch to the stay. I would highly recommend this resort at this price point.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are huge, basically a one bedroom apartment. Nice big balcony. You can open the top screen, which we didn’t realize until the last day. Pool was great and my granddaughter swam every day. Right across from the hotel is a huge green space where the paragliders land. Fun to sit and watch. The hotel is fairly central so lots of stores and restaurants to check out. There is a huge Coop right by the east train station, where we bought food. One negative is that there is no oven or microwave so you can’t heat anything up. Other than that is was a great place to stop for 5 days.

A very nice place, clean, simple room, everywhere well maintained, friendly helpful staff. Nice garden to have breakfast in and the hotel is in a good location, just outside the city centre (which means it's quiet in the evenings) but only 5-10 minutes' walk from the centre (depending how fast you walk). The location also affects the price, which was very reasonable. The only thing we would have liked to have - in view of the unusually high temperatures - was AC but other than that, wonderful!
